Born: January 27, 2010 (C-Section) Place: Centegra Hospital, McHenry, ILTime: 7:51 a.m. weighing in at 7 lbs 7 oz. and 20 1/2 long. His Hair is sandy brown with gray eyes.

Jake's 6th B'day

Duncan Makes a Friend

The last Sunday in April 2012, we were all at the Glacier Ice House in Vernon Hills for Jake's Hockey Game. It is hard for Duncan to sit through a game so Gramma and Grampa took him outside and on our way to our car to get some things to have fun with, a little gosling came out of nowhere and went right up to Duncan

At first, Duncan was a little afraid as the gosling came right up to him and said "Peep Peep".

I Explained to Duncan that the baby gosling (he insisted it was a duckie) was just a baby and was calling its mama. Duncan bent over and told the little "duckie" that it was OK and Duncan said "play cars" back to the baby gosling.

I explained to Duncan that the baby gosling (Duckie) doesn't know how to play cars but Duncan showed him how to play with the cars.

Some other people came over to see Duncan and the baby gosling and whereever Duncan went, the gosling followed and

followed.. and

followed. When Duncan stopped, so did the baby gosling. "Where's your mama, duckie?" But the little gosling just followed Duncan.

The story has a nice ending. Some wonderful people got a cloth bag and after some time, the gosling walked in the bag and was taken to the office of Glacier who called the proper people who took care of the lost little gosling. But what wonderful memories Duncan and the little gosling created for gramma and grampa.

Duncan Doesn't seem to enjoy finding an Xmas tree as much as Jake. Love it!!!

Easter 2013 Concerto in B Minor by the Wooley Boys....Just love it!!! I have this Pic enlarged above my computer and just know their Great Grandfather (my dad) is just thrilled to see his great grandsons enjoying his piano. It also makes me smile every morning.
