Bernard "Sam" Simono, age 83, of 1720 Emmett Street, Two Rivers,
died Wednesday, June 9, 1993, at the Two Rivers Community Hospital.
Funeral Services will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, June 12, 1993, at St.
Lukes catholic Church, Two Rivers. The Rev. Greg Smith will officiate and
vurial to follow in the Holy Cross Cemetery.
Same was born January 1, 1910, at Coleman, WI., son of the late Benjamin
and Florence Martens Simono. He attended St. Lukes Parochial School and Washington
High School. On September 1, 1934, he was married to Evelyn Dupuis at St.
Lukes Catholic Church, Two Rivers. Mr. Simono was employed by the Two Rivers
School System as a custodian for many years. He was a member of St. Lukes
Holy Name Society, St. Lukes Athletic Association, the Boy Scouts of America
and the Knights of Columbus.
Survivors include his wife, Evelyn; four sons and three daughters-in-law,
Ronald and Karen, Charlotte, N.C., Wayne and Betty, Chicago, IL, Leland and
Debra, Milwaukee, and Joseph, Sparta, TN; one brother and sister-in-law, Claude
and Elaine Simono, Two Rivers; ten grandchildren, two great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by one daughter and four brothers.
Friends may call at the Deja and Martin Funeral Chapels from 5-8 p.m. Friday.
A prayer service will be held at 6:30 p.m. by Deacon Ken Coenen. Memorials
would be appreciated to T.R.C.C.S.
