Denise Frank
A Mass of Christian Burial for Denise "Denny" Frank, 62, Oshkosh,
was held Saturday, October 18, at St. Raphael's Catholic Church in Oshkosh.
Rev. Dan Felton officiated with burial in Lake View Cemetery. Paklasny Funeral
Home was in cahrge of arrangements.
She died Wednesday, October 15, at the University Hospital in Madison.
Born in Coleman on July 6, 1935, to the last Mr. and Mrs. Harry (Emma Laurent)
Martens, she married John Frank on April 27, 1957 at St. John the Baptist
Church in Coleman. She was employed at Mercy Medical Center for 37 years.
She was a member of the Winnebago Wanderer's camping Club and several bridge
clubs.
Survivors include her husband, Ron; two sons, Jeff (Ann) of Oshkosh and Doug
(Char), of Green Bay; three daughters, Stacy Deaton and Mrs. Grady (Jackie)
Kuhn, of Oshkosh and Mrs. Matt (Ellen) blumer of Whitehall; 11 grandchildren;
three sisters, Lou Malmstadt of West Allis, Mrs. Dan (Pat) Waselchuck of Appleton,
and Mrs. Richard (Mary) Ziemer of coleman; four brothers, Frank (Mavis), Dr.
Don (Fern), and Tom (Joyce) Martens, all of Green Bay and Larry (Rita) Martens
of Pell City, Ala.; her mother-in-law, Helen Frank of Oshkosh; one brother-in-law,
Bob (Mary Ann) Frank; two sisters-in-law; Mrs. Jerry (Nancy) Dickman of Virginia
Beach, Va. and Natalie Maratens of Green Bay. She is also survived by many
nieces, nephews and friends.
She was preceded in death by one brother, H. Leonard Martens; two sisters,
Evelyn Bachhuber and Sr. M. Stephanie Martens; and her father-in-law, John
R. Frank.
A memorial fund has been established.
