Larry A. Wiltzius, 71, of Route 2, Coleman died Friday while cutting a tree on his property.

He was born May 29, 1915, at Goodman. He was a veteran of World War II, having served three years witht he army in the Phillippines.

He married the former Bernice Martens, August 8, 1942, at the former St. John the Baptist Catholic Church in Coleman. He owned and operated Larry's Refrigeration and Electric at Route 2, Coleman, for 35 years. He semiretired in 1977.

He was a member of St. Francis of Assisi Church there and the Coleman American Legion Post. He was a former member of the Coleman District School Board. He was past secretary of a bowling league in Coleman. He was a member of Production Credit Association of Coleman bowling team. He also was an avid fisherman and hunter.

He is survived by his wife; two sons, David of Livermore, CA., and James of Green Bay; two daughters, Sharon Weed of Pulaski and Pattie Maye of Crivitz; a brother, Alfred of Fond du lac; and nine grand-children. A brother, Peter, died previously.

Friends may call at Rhodes-Charapata Funeral Home, Coleman, from 5 to 9 p.m. Sunday. A parish wake service will be held at 8.

Final rites will be held at 10:30 a.m. Monday at the church. The Rev. Martin Fox will officiate. Burial will be in the church cemetery. The Coleman American Legion Post will conduct military rites at the church.

BERNICE A WILTZIUS
Bernice A. Wiltzius, age 72, of W8052 County B East, Coleman, died unexpectedly on Thursday, August 25, 1994 at University Hospital, Madison. The former Bernice A. Martens was born October 14, 1921 at Coleman to the late Louis and Eva(Boville) Martens.

She was a 1939 graduate of Coleman High School. She was married to Larry A. Wiltzius on August 8, 1942 at the former St. John Catholic Church, Coleman. Bernice worked as a cook at Coleman High School for many years. She was a very active member of St. Francis of Assisi Church, Coleman. Her husband preceded her in deathe on December 19, 1986.

Surviving are 2 daughters, Sharon (Robert) Weed, Pulaski; Patti Wiltzius, Crivitz; 2 sons, David (Carla) Wiltzius, Livermore, Calif.; James (Karen) Wiltzius, Green Bay; 8 grandchildren, 1 brother, Rovert (Viola) Martens, Coleman; 1 sister, Lou (Bernie) Petitjean, Gardenia, Calif. Besides her husband and parents, she is preceded in deathe by 1 grandson, Mark Weed, and 2 brothers, Clarence and Duane Martens.

Friends may call at RHODES-CHARAPATA FUNERAL HOME in Coleman from 8 to 10 a.m. Saturday. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Saturday at 10:30 a.m. at St. Francis of Assisi Church, Coleman. Rev. Martin Fox will officiate. Burial in St. John Cemetery, Coleman.
