Margaret (Martens) Farrell

Margaret (Martens) Farrell, age 84, of 2305 San Luis Place, Green Bay, died Sunday, September 14, 1997 at San Luis Medical and Rehabilitation Center, Green Bay. The former Margaret Martens was born November 4, 1912 at Pound to the late Edward and Octavia (Brault) Martens.

She was marred to Francis O. Farrell on December 27, 1944 at the former St. Leo Catholic Church, Pound. The couple lived in Pound and then moved to Glendale, Wisconsin. Margaret was an elementary teacher in Porterfield, Marinette, Coleman and then in Glendale. She was preceded in death by her husband on October 19, 1992.

Surviving are a daughter, Katherine Webel of Montreuil-Bellay, France and a sister, Ursula (Martens) Peters of Green Bay; many nieces and nephews.

Friends may call at SS. FRANCIS & WENCESLAUS CHURCH, Coleman from 9 to 11 a.m. Saturday, September 20, 1997. Mass of Christian Burial will be held Saturday at 11:00 a.m. at the church with Fr. John Hephner officiating.

Interment will be in St. Leo Catholic Cemetery, Pound. RHODES-CHARAPATA FUNERAL HOME, Coleman assisted the family with arrangements.
