A Mass of Christian Burial for Rita Martens, 83, Green Bay, was conducted Wednesday, January 3 at St. Jude Catholic Church. Rev Rom Hagendorf officiated with entombment in Allouez Catholic Massoleum.

She Died Sunday, Dec. 31 at a Green Bay area nursing home.

Born April 21, 1917 in Green Bay to the late Mr. and Mrs. Theodore (Mary Lane) Oudeans, she married Harold Martens on July 17, 1937 in Green Bay. He preceded her in death on Nov. 20, 1992. She worked for Moore Business Forms for many years. She was a member of St. Jude Parish.

Survivors include four children, Judith Olsen of Marinette, Ronald (Patsy) Martens of Howard, Mrs. Kenneth (Carol) Pamperin and Mrs. Michael (Sandra) Schmidt of Green Bay; 17 grandchildren; and 29 great-grandchildren.

Besides her husband, she was preceded in death by one grandchild; one great-grandchild; three brothers; and eight sisters.
