Renting at 712 South Ashland in Green Bay WI District 34. Esther was 24 at the time of her marriage and John was 23. Current age for Esther is 28, 27 for John. They have one son, John M. who is 1 3/4 years old. John's occupation is that of railroad switchman. (handwritten records use Jack as Esther's husband).

FORMER ESTHER MARTENS DIES

Coleman - This community was shocked to learn of the death of Mrs. John Landry of Green Bay, the former Esther Martens of this village. Mrs. Landry, 37, died in a Green Bay hospital early Wednesday morning following an operation a week earlier.

Mrs. Landry was born here, the daughter of Mathias Martens, and following her marriage moved to Green bay to make her home.

Besides her husband, the survivors are three children, Jackie, 11; Mary Ann, 8; and James, 5; her father, Mathias Martens, coleman; three sisters, Mrs. Edward Daley, Gren Bay, Mrs. Florence Simino and Miss Bessie Martens, Coleman; and five brothers, Louis and Harry of Coleman, Charles and Ray of Pound and Clement of Green Bay.

Funeral services will be held at 9 o'clock Saturday morning at St. Joseph's church in Green Bay with burial in Allouez cemetery.
