Mrs. Marcott, 84, Dies Early Today

DE PERE (PG) - Mrs. Fred Marcott, 84, died early this morning at her home, 501 N. Huron Street after a long illness. The former Effie Martens, she was born here December 26, 1872, the daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. John Martens. She was a member of the St. Mary Christian Mothers Society.

She is survived by a son, Adrian, De Pere; two grand-children, Robert, with the armed forces in Germany, and Carol, De Pere; a brother, Lawrence Martens, De Pere, and a sister, Miss Lyda Martens, Green Bay. Her husband, a former De Pere Justice of the Peace, died in 1945.

Friends may call after 7 o'clock this evening at the Coffey Funeral Home where the Christian Mothers will recite the Rosary at 8 p.m. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday at St. Mary's church. The Rev. Raymond Heitpas will officiate and burial will be in Mt. Olivet Cemetery.
