CAUSE
- DROWNING
Cletus died at the home of Mathias Martens when he fell from his high chair
into a tub of wine and drowned. This is from Great Uncle Clem.

Coleman - Cletus, 2-year-old son of Charles Martens, a Coleman storekeeper,
was drowned in a 5-gallon jar of elderberry wine. The child's mother was making
wine and had gone into the store for a few minutes, in the meantime, Cletus
tried to get the elderberries, overbalanced and fell head first into the jar.
