Darboy, 78, died on Sat. Aug. 21, 2004. Clem was born April 10, 1926 to the
late Arthur and Elizabeth (Reynen) in Kaukauna. He served in the U.S. Navy
during WW II. Clem married the former Margaret LaBorde on August 6, 1949.
She preceded him in death on March 13, 1999. Clem was a longtime member of
Holy Angels Catholic Church and served as a lector, communion distributor
and was active in the “Grampa Patrol” for many years. He was also
a member of the American Legion Darboy Post 265 and the Knight of Columbus.
He co-founded the Lang & Boucher Heating and Cooling Co. in 1957 and owned
and operated it until its sale to his two sons, Jim and Tom in 1988. He continued
to stay active in the business until his death. Clem enjoyed challenging construction
and woodworking projects and helping family and friends in completing them.
He also enjoyed camping, Packer games and spending time with his grandchildren.
Clem will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
He is survived by seven children, Carl (Marlene) and their four children,
Amy (Mike) McGowan, Andy (Jolene) and Angela & Alissa; Mary (Dave) Pahl
and their six children, Beth , Dave (Tanya) Becky (Dean) Seefeldt, Brian,
Danny and Jonathan; Jim ( Betty) and their three children, Bob (Jodi), Brenda
and Becky (Andy) Nielsen; Tom (Tammy) and their three children, Adam, Amanda
and Josh; John (Roxanne) Bouchea; Dave (Stacy) and their four children, Samantha,
Mindy, Luke and Katie and Jane (Ron) Lindberg and their two children, Alexander
and Christina; and three great grandchildren, Gavin, Carson and Brianna. He
will also be missed by one brother, Paul (Bernice); three sisters, Armella
(Vernon) Vechart, Margie (Art) Behling and Inez (John) Paustian; a sister
in law, Harriet (Robert) Balgie and numerous nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife, Margaret, one brother
Elwood and one sister Esther. He was also preceded in death by his mother
and father in law Fred and Margaret LaBorde, two sisters in law, Loretta LaBorde
and Mercedes and Lee Wagnitz.
The funeral service will be 11 a.m. on Wed. Aug. 25, at HOLY ANGELS CATHOLIC
CHURCH, in Darboy with Fr. Tom Pomeroy officiating. Friends will be received
on Tuesday at the Boettcher Family Funeral Home, 2401 Fieldcrest Drive, Kaukauna
from 4 p.m. until the Parish Prayer Service at 7 p.m. and again at Church
on Wednesday from 10 a.m. until the time of service. Interment and Full Military
Burial Rites will follow the service in the Parish Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, a memorial is being established to benefit Habitat for
Humanity.
