Elaine S. Simono, age 74 of 1714 Emmett Street. Two Rivers, died Satuday morning, September 25, 1999 at Two Rivers Community Hospital.

A Memorial Mass will be held (5:00 p.m. Wednesday - Sept. 29, 1999) at St. Luke Catholic Church, Two Rivers. Officiating at the Memorial Mass will be the Rev. Larry Seidl. Cremation has taken place.

Elaine was born November 4, 1924 at Two Rivers, daughter of the late Frank and Otelia Paulu Lodel. She was a graduate of Two Rivers Washington High School with the class of 1942. On September 22, 1954 she married Claude Simono at St. Luke Catholic Church, Two Rivers. Elaine was employed in the purchasing Dept. of Hamilton Manufacturing Co. for many years. She was also an active member of the Lakeshore Palleteers for several years.

Survivors include her husband: Claude of Two Rivers, a daughter and son-in-law: Amy and Ron Books, Neenah, WI, a son and daughter-in-law; Frank Simono and his wife Sandy, Sorrento, FL, two grandchildren: Nathan and Erik Books, a brother and sister in law: Frank and Ruth Lodel, Two Rivers. Elaine is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and the following special friends: Mrge and Don Beaty. Doris and Laverne. She was also proceeded in death by a brother Daniel in infancy.

The family will greet relatives and friends Wednesday afternoon for a memorial avisitation at St. Luke Catholic Church from 3:00 p.m. until the time of the memorial mass at 5:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Luke Parish. The Klein & Stangel Funeral Home is assisting the family with funeral arrangements.

The family would like to thank the nursing staff at Two Rivers community hospital and Wendy of the Visiting Nurse Association of Two Rivers.
